For the movement of visitors in the Falls area, an ecological train, which runs on natural gas, was designed and became one of our most innovative additions.
It was brought specially from England, where it was designed by Alan Keef Ltd., a company which specializes in excursion trains and has already built highly successful transports for parks in Asia and Europe.
Planned exclusively for this park, the design bears in mind unique characteristics of the area such as weather and the surrounding natural environment.
The train is an open vehicle which allows the visitors to have direct contact with the environment and live the experience of a ride in the middle of the jungle, sensing the aromas, weather variations and the sounds of the forest.
The natural gas train was chosen to achieve the following objectives:
Avoid damage to the Park ecosystem by preventing excessive circulation of vehicles that would produce pollution.
Allow maximum contact with nature and viewing of the landscape from the open wagons.
Minimize collisions with animals, which would occur with large amounts of vehicles circulating in the Park. This is the principal reason why the train never exceeds 20 km/h.
The train has 3 stations:
Central Station
From here the train goes to Cataratas Station and Garganta Station. It offers bathrooms, a first aid room, ranger park offices and a commercial area with a coffee place and a store.

Cataratas Station
At this station the precluding trails to the Upper and Lower Circuits begin and diverge. It works as a distribution centre with a square, a rest area, food services, fast food services and bathrooms.
Garganta del Diablo Station
From here you can access the Devil’s throat Fall. The station offers a central service square with bathrooms and a fast food store from which a set of catwalks take you to the falls.
