A rapid decrease in the level of the Iguaçu River allowed the National Parks to reopen access to the Falls this Sunday, one day earlier than planned. The entry of tourists was only prohibited on Saturday, when the peak is closed, which was generated by 200 millimeters of steel in the high basins, even in Brazilian territory.

In just a few hours, the river flow increased by 80% and reached 18,000 cubic meters per second, twelve times more than the average Iguaçu. The sustained downward current that occurred on Saturday afternoon and the absence of new damage to the Upper and Lower circuits was what led the authorities to reopen the park, with limited hours only for this Sunday: from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
